The ZEISS VAST is ideal for contact scanning and single-point measurements with long styli up to 800 millimeters and stylus weights up to 800 grams and is notable for its high scanning speeds. Of course, this performance also places special demands on the accessories used. The VAST sensor and the adapter plate form a technical unit. The integrated chip enables the use of advanced software and machine functions. New controllers such as the C99m controller can fully exploit the potential of original ZEISS adapter plates.
